Leadership. . . what is it and do I have it?
The term "lead" is described as, "to show the way, or direct the course of by going before, to conduct and to guide". Leadership Hillsdale County provides a mechanism to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge necessary for today's leaders to meet the challenges of tomorrow's workplace and community. Good leaders know the importance of lifelong learning and networking. Leadership Hillsdale County provides both by connecting you with emerging and established leaders who will provide their expertise to the program. These community leaders represent business, education, healthcare, government and human service sectors.

Hillsdale County Chamber of Commerce
Leadership Hillsdale County is a nine-month program, dedicated to the development of leadership skills through education, awareness and working relationships. Meetings will be held monthly at a variety of locations. Our home base will be the Chamber office with other locations and field trips to be announced. You will learn leadership principles, skill sets and how to apply them to your career and community service. The program will run from ?? to ??

LEADERSHIP CANDIDATES
Candidates for the program are present or emerging leaders from Hillsdale County. To qualify, a candidate must have demonstrated leadership qualities in his or her profession and/or community and a willingness to contribute to the community's future. Participants gain knowledge of trend, challenges and issues facing the Hillsdale County area with the utlimate goal of becoming future community leaders who anticipate change and act decisively.
This year up to ## individuals will be selected for the program. Candidates may enroll themselves or be sponsored by their employer, a community organization, or other recognized agency.

TUITION
Tuition for Leadership Hillsdale County is $?? for Chamber Members ($?? for non-members). Tuition may be paid by the employer, sponsoring organization, or by the participant. Tuition covers instruction, student issue materials, refreshment breaks, some meals, trips, and graduation.
